Eligibility Criteria for UKSSSC Assistant Accountant

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have the following qualifications from a recognized university/institute:

• Assistant Accountant (Treasury, UPCL, PTCUL, UJVNL, etc.): B.Com / BBA / Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy with Hindi typing speed of 4000 key depressions per hour.
• Office Assistant-III (Accounts): B.Com with Hindi typing 6000 KDPH and English typing 7000 KDPH, along with a one-year diploma/certificate in computer course.
• Accountant (BRIDCUL): B.Com with MBA (Finance) / PGDBA (Finance) / M.Com plus at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Cashier cum Assistant Accountant: B.Com or equivalent with knowledge of accounts keeping.

Age Limit

• For Assistant Accountant/Junior Auditor (Jal Sansthan): 18 to 42 years.
• For all other posts: 21 to 42 years.

Age relaxation is applicable as per UKSSSC rules:

• SC/ST/OBC: 5 years
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years
• Freedom Fighter Dependents: 5 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Actual service period deducted from actual age, subject to maximum age not exceeding 3 years beyond prescribed limit.

Under the 7th Pay Commission, this corresponds to Level-5 of the pay matrix, giving a total salary range of ₹29,200 to ₹92,300 per month. In addition, employees are entitled to allowances like dearness allowance, house rent allowance, and medical benefits as per government rules.

2. Typing Test
