ESIC Faculty Recruitment 2025

Employees’ State Insurance Corporation announced a recruitment drive for 252 teaching faculty and medical positions at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Alwar, Rajasthan. The recruitment covered Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Resident and other specialist positions. The selection process was primarily based on an in-person interview, making it important for eligible candidates to report at the designated venue with the required documents.

ESIC Faculty Vacancy Details

The recruitment included a total of 252 vacancies across different academic and medical roles. The post-wise distribution consisted of 26 Professor posts, 38 Associate Professor posts, 54 Assistant Professor posts, 107 Senior Resident posts, 25 Senior Resident posts against GDMO positions, one Senior Consultant post and one Junior Consultant post. Candidates were required to check the qualification and experience conditions applicable to their particular discipline before appearing for the selection process.

Educational Qualification

Eligibility varied according to the post and medical specialty. For teaching and super-specialist faculty positions, candidates were required to meet the applicable standards prescribed for faculty working in NMC-regulated medical institutions. Senior Resident positions required the relevant postgraduate medical qualification, while specialist positions had discipline-specific requirements. For Hospital Administration, the notification specified MBBS with MD for the Senior Consultant position. Candidates should always match their degree, specialization, registration and professional experience with the requirements of the post applied for.

Age Limit

The upper age requirement depended on the category of post. Teaching Faculty and Super Specialist Faculty candidates could be up to 69 years of age as on the interview date. The upper age limit for Senior Residents was 45 years, while Senior Residents in specified subjects including Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic Medicine and Community Medicine could be up to 50 years. Other specialist positions were governed by the conditions stated for the respective post.

Interview Schedule

The selection interviews were scheduled for 24 and 25 November 2025 at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Desula, MIA, Alwar, Rajasthan. A group of clinical and hospital administration specialties was scheduled for 24 November, while several pre-clinical, para-clinical and super-specialty disciplines were scheduled for 25 November. Candidates were required to attend in person and carry the application form and supporting documents for verification.

Application Process

The application process involved completing the prescribed form and submitting the required documents. Candidates were instructed to send the application through Registered Post or Speed Post, or submit it by hand, to the Dean, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Alwar. The application was required to reach the concerned office by 12:00 PM on 25 November 2025. Applicants appearing for the interview were also required to carry a printed application form and relevant original documents.

Application Fee

The fee structure specified a ₹500 application fee for candidates falling under the applicable non-exempt category. SC, ST, ESIC, female candidates, Defence Ex-Servicemen and PH candidates were exempted from payment. The fee was to be submitted through the prescribed Demand Draft method mentioned in the recruitment instructions.

Selection Process

Selection was based on an interview along with scrutiny and verification of eligibility documents. Candidates were assessed on their academic qualifications, relevant professional experience, subject expertise and overall suitability for the position. Original certificates and supporting documents were required during verification. Final appointment depended on satisfying the applicable recruitment conditions and selection requirements.

Documents Required

Candidates were required to keep recent passport-size photographs, date-of-birth proof, educational certificates and marksheets ready. Candidates already employed with Central or State Government authorities were required to produce a No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of document verification. Applicants should also carry any professional registration, experience and specialty-related documents relevant to their post.

Salary Details

The recruitment offered different remuneration levels according to the post. The stated monthly amounts were ₹2,11,878 for Professor, ₹1,40,894 for Associate Professor and ₹1,21,408 for Assistant Professor. The notification also specified ₹78,800 basic pay at Level 12 for the Senior Consultant position and ₹67,700 at Level 11 for Adjunct Faculty. Other positions were governed by their respective remuneration conditions.
