Job Overview
AIIMS Raipur is inviting applications for the position of Junior Resident. Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Conduct clinical assessments, diagnose medical conditions, and provide treatment to patients under the supervision of senior residents and attending consultants.
- Medical Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, update case files, and document treatment plans and medical histories.
- Assist in Medical Procedures: Support senior physicians during medical procedures, surgeries, and emergency interventions.
- Rounds and Follow-up: Participate in daily rounds to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as directed, and ensure continuity of care.
- Emergency Care Management: Respond to emergencies, assist in stabilizing patients, and provide urgent medical care as part of the emergency response team.
- Collaboration with Medical Team: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, to provide integrated patient care.
- Education and Learning: Attend departmental meetings, case presentations, and training sessions to enhance clinical knowledge and stay updated with best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- Education: MBBS degree from a recognized medical college; candidates with an MD qualification may be preferred for specialized responsibilities.
- Registration: Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any state medical council.
- Clinical Skills: Strong foundational knowledge in clinical practices, patient assessment, and diagnosis.
