Role Overview
As a Scientific Business Manager – Oncology, you’ll play a pivotal role in promoting CIPLA’s oncology portfolio to healthcare professionals. This role involves providing scientific insights, building strong relationships with medical professionals, and driving product awareness in the oncology sector. You will work closely with the medical, marketing, and sales teams to ensure that CIPLA’s oncology solutions meet the highest standards and reach the patients who need them.
Key Responsibilities
- Scientific Engagement: Conduct detailed scientific discussions with oncologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals to educate them about CIPLA’s oncology products.
- Business Development: Develop strategies to drive product promotion, enhance product visibility, and ensure product growth in the market.
- Market Analysis: Monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and market needs to develop responsive strategies and improve CIPLA’s market position.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align goals, share insights, and develop joint strategies for promoting oncology products.
- Training: Educate and train sales teams on scientific and technical aspects of oncology products to ensure accurate and impactful promotion.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Educational Background: B.Pharma or B.Sc in any specialization, with a solid understanding of pharmaceutical or biological sciences.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in pharmaceutical sales, particularly in oncology, is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills to deliver scientific information effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and market trends to make data-driven decisions.
