Shri Krishna AYUSH University (SKAU), Kurukshetra has officially released the recruitment notification for the posts of Staff Nurse and Ayurvedic Pharmacist under advertisement numbers NT-01/2026 and NT-02/2026. Interested candidates must carefully review the complete eligibility criteria before applying online. The eligibility will be determined as on 21 August 2026, and only those who satisfy all conditions will be allowed to appear in the selection process.

Post-Wise Educational Qualification

Staff Nurse: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) from a recognized board. They must also be A-Grade Nurses registered with the Haryana Nurses Registration Council or its equivalent. Additionally, candidates must fulfill the language requirement by having studied Hindi or Sanskrit at Matriculation level, or Hindi as a subject in 10+2, BA, or MA.

Ayurvedic Pharmacist: There are two acceptable educational pathways. In Pathway I, candidates must possess Up-Vaidya from a recognized university, institution, board, or Faculty of Indian System of Medicine and must have passed Matriculation or an equivalent examination. In Pathway II, candidates must hold a Diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy from a recognized institution and must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Both pathways require the same language condition as mentioned above.

Age Limit

The age limit for both posts is common. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and not more than 42 years old as on 21 August 2026. The upper age limit will be calculated on this date, and the Matriculation certificate will be considered the valid proof of date of birth.

Age Relaxation for Reserved Categories

Age relaxation is applicable to candidates belonging to Haryana State reserved categories, subject to government rules. The maximum upper age limit after any relaxation, except for Ex-Servicemen, will not exceed 52 years.

• Scheduled Castes (SC): 5 years
• Backward Classes (BC-A/BC-B): 5 years
• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 5 years
• PwBD belonging to SC/ST/BC/EWS: Additional 5 years (maximum age 52 years)
• Wife of Disabled Military Personnel: 5 years
• Widowed, Legally Divorced, Judicially Separated, or Unmarried Women: 5 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Military service plus 3 years (maximum 52 years)
• Adhoc/Contract/Work-Charged/Daily Wage Employees of Haryana Government: Relaxation equal to completed years of service on an equivalent post (maximum age 52 years)

Nationality and Domicile

Candidates must be citizens of India, or subjects of Nepal, or subjects of Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling, or Persons of Indian Origin who migrated from specified countries including Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam. Candidates falling under non-Indian categories must obtain a Certificate of Eligibility from the Government of India.

Reservation benefits are available only to candidates with Haryana domicile. Candidates from other states will be treated as General/Unreserved candidates.

Important Eligibility Instructions

• Eligibility regarding age, educational qualification, domicile, category, and other conditions will be determined as on the closing date, i.e., 21 August 2026.
• Certificates issued after the closing date will not be considered.
• Women applicants seeking reservation under SC, BC-A, or BC-B categories must submit caste certificates issued from their parental (father's) side only.
• BC-A, BC-B, and EWS certificates must be valid for the financial year 2026-27. OBC certificates will not be accepted in place of BC-A/BC-B certificates.
• Candidates already employed in Central Government, State Government, Universities, or Public Sector Undertakings must upload a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) during the online application or produce it during document verification.

Selection Process

The selection process for SKAU Kurukshetra Staff Nurse and Ayurvedic Pharmacist posts consists of a Written Examination followed by Document Verification.
