Delhi Police has officially announced the much-awaited Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) schedule for recruitment to the posts of Constable (Executive), Constable (Driver), Head Constable (Ministerial), and Head Constable (AWO/TPO). Candidates who have cleared the written examination and have been shortlisted can now check the revised physical test dates. Delhi Police Physical Test 2026: Overview

The PE&MT is a crucial stage in the Delhi Police recruitment process. It will be conducted for multiple posts including Constable (Executive) Male & Female, Constable (Driver), Head Constable (Ministerial), and Head Constable (AWO/TPO). Delhi Police PET Process

  • Up to 30 years: 1600m race in 6 minutes, Long Jump 14 feet, High Jump 3 feet 9 inches
  • 30-40 years: 1600m race in 7 minutes, Long Jump 13 feet, High Jump 3 feet 6 inches
  • Above 40 years: 1600m race in 8 minutes, Long Jump 12 feet, High Jump 3 feet 3 inches

Female Candidates

  • Up to 30 years: 1600m race in 8 minutes, Long Jump 10 feet, High Jump 3 feet
  • Above 30 years: 1600m race in 9 minutes, Long Jump 9 feet, High Jump 2 feet 9 inches

Delhi Police PMT Standards 2026

For the Physical Measurement Test, candidates need to meet the following standards:

  • Male: Height 170 cm, Chest 81-85 cm (minimum 4 cm expansion)
  • Female: Height 157 cm

Driving Licence Requirements

For Constable (Executive) Male, a valid LMV (Motorcycle or Car) driving licence is required on the date of PE&MT. Learner's licence will not be accepted. For Constable (Driver), a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving licence issued on or before 15 October 2025 is required.

Guidelines for Female Candidates

Female candidates who are pregnant, recently delivered, or have suffered a miscarriage may be declared temporarily unfit until the prescribed period is over. They must submit an application with supporting medical documents at the PE&MT venue.
